East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Although on-site crews may occasionally communicate specific impacts to your property, a general outline of what to expect in the coming weeks is listed below:
Week of July 12:
- Install Permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
- Install Daily traffic control at Stations 10, 14, 15, 16, 17
- Install Restroom concrete at Station 1
- Install Rough-In plumbing (Restroom) at Station 1
- Pour Restroom Floor at Station 1
- Form Platform at Station 3
- Install and inspect Conduits at Station 5
- Gas Valve Adjustment at Station 8
- Install Temporary Street Light at Station 10
- Install Directional Bore 3” Conduit at Stations 14, 15, 16, 17
Week of July 19:
- Install Permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
- Install Daily traffic control at Stations 16, 17
- Install Snowmelt, Pull Boxes, and Grounding Ring at Stations 3, 4
- Pour Platform at Station 3
- Form Platform at Stations 4, 6
- Manhole Adjustment at Station 5
- Install sewer at Station 7
- Install conduit at Station 7
- Install Directional Bore 3” Conduit at Stations 16, 17
Week of July 26:
- Install Permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
- Install Snowmelt, Pull boxes, and Grounding Ring at Stations 4, 6
- Pour platform at Stations 3, 4
- Form/Pour/Cure Curb and Gutter at Station 3
- Install Sidewalk at Station 3
- Form platform at Station 6
- Install Conduits at Station 7, 8
- Install Sewer and adjust water at Station 8
- Install Survey Platform at Station 8
