East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Although on-site crews may occasionally communicate specific impacts to your property, a general outline of what to expect in the coming weeks is listed below:
Week of July 26:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
- Water line work at Station 8
Week of August 2:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
- Form platform at Stations 3, 4
- Install snowmelt, pull boxes, and grounding ring at Station 3
- Regrade Stations 7, 8
- Survey platform at Stations 7, 8
- Install conduit at Station 7
Week of August 9:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
- Pour platform at Stations 3, 4
- Form/pour/cure curb and gutter at Station 3
- Install sidewalk at Station 3
- Install snowmelt, pull boxes, and grounding ring at Stations 4, 5
- Form platform at Stations 4, 5, 6
- Install conduit at Station 8
