East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Although on-site crews may occasionally communicate specific impacts to your property, a general outline of what to expect in the coming weeks is listed below.

- Install permanent traffic control at Station 1
- Construct restroom at Station 1
Week of March 14:
- Install permanent traffic control at Station 1
- Construct restroom at Station 1
- Install daily traffic control and docking guide strip at Stations 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
- Install inlet protection at Stations 11, 12, 13, 15, 30, 31, 32, 33
Week of March 21:
- Install permanent traffic control at Station 1
- Construct restroom at Station 1
- Install daily traffic control at Stations 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 30, 31, 32, 33
- Install docking guide strip at Stations 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20
- Remove sidewalk at Stations 11, 12, 13, 15, 17
- Stake curb ramps at Stations 11, 12, 13, 15
- Form, pour, cure curb and gutter at Stations 11, 12, 13
- Install 12” Pavement at Station 11
- Sawcutting at Stations 30, 31, 32, 33
