East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Although on-site crews may occasionally communicate specific impacts to your property, a general outline of what to expect in the coming weeks is listed below.
Week of October 10:
· Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 22, 27
· Install daily traffic control at Stations 16, 19, 23, 30, 31
· Pour sidewalk at Station 16
· Remove concrete at Station 19
· Install 12” pavement, form ramps, install platform ramp snowmelt, and pour sidewalk at Station 22
· Restoration at Station 23
· Grade at Stations 27, 30
· Remove street lights and install platform conduit at Station 27
· Form, pour, cure curb and gutter & survey staking at Station 30
Week of October 17:
· Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 22, 27
· Install daily traffic control at Stations 16, 19, 30, 31
· Restoration at Station 16
· Install platform conduit at Stations 19, 27
· Pour 12” pavement at Stations 19, 30
· Pour ramps and pour sidewalk at Station 22
· Grade and form platform at Station 27
· Install snowmelt at Stations 27, 31
· Form, pour, cure curb and gutter at Station 30
· Pour platform at Station 31
Week of October 24:
· Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 27
· Install daily traffic control at Stations 30, 31
· Install snowmelt at Station 27
· Form and pour ramps, install snowmelt ramps, and pour sidewalk at Station 30
· Form, pour, cure curb and gutter, grade, pour 12” pavement, form ramps, and install snowmelt ramps at Station 31
