East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Although on-site crews may occasionally communicate specific impacts to your property, a general outline of what to expect in the coming weeks is listed below.
Week of October 17:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 27
- Install daily traffic control at Stations 19, 22, 30, 31
- Restoration at Stations 1, 16
- Install platform conduit at Stations 19, 27
- Adjust pull boxes and install platform ramp snowmelt at Station 22
- Grading at Station 27
- Form, pour, cure curb and gutter & pour 12” pavement at Station 30
- Install snowmelt at Station 31
Week of October 24:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 27
- Install daily traffic control at Stations 19, 22, 25, 30, 31
- Restoration at Stations 1, 16
- Pour 12” pavement at Station 19
- Pour ramps and sidewalk at Stations 22, 30
- Form platform at Station 27
- Install snowmelt at Stations 27, 31
- Form ramps and install snowmelt ramps at Station 30
- Pour platform and grading at Station 31
Week of October 31:
- Install permanent traffic control at Station 27
- Install daily traffic control at Stations 30, 31
- Grading at Stations 27, 31
- Form, pour, cure curb and gutter, pour 12” pavement, form ramps & install snowmelt ramps at Station 31
