East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Although on-site crews may occasionally communicate specific impacts to your property, a general outline of what to expect in the coming weeks is listed below.
Week of October 24:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 27
- Install daily traffic control at Stations 19, 22, 23, 25, 30, 31
- Restoration at Stations 1, 16
- Pour 12” pavement at Station 19
- Pour ramps and sidewalk at Station 22
- Grade at Stations 27, 30
- Form platform at Station 27
- Install snowmelt and pour platform at Station 31
Week of October 31:
- Install permanent traffic control at Station 27
- Install daily traffic control at Stations 23, 30, 31
- Install snowmelt and pour platform at Station 27
- Install snowmelt ramps at Stations 30, 31
- Pour ramps and sidewalk at Station 30
- Form, pour, cure curb and gutter, pour 12” pavement & form ramps at Station 31
Week of November 7:
- Install permanent traffic control at Station 27
- Install daily traffic control at Stations 23, 30, 31
- Pour sidewalk at Stations 23, 30, 31
- Form and pour curb and gutter, pour 12” pavement & grade at Station 27
- Pour ramps at Station 31
