East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
As construction along the East-West Bus Rapid Transit route comes to a close, we are proud to officially announce Milwaukee County’s newest bus rapid transit system, CONNECT.
Since construction began in 2021, Milwaukee County, local businesses, residents, stakeholders, and many others, have been working together to bring CONNECT to life.
CONNECT’s official service is set to launch in 2023, strengthening the entire transit network and our economy, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and making Milwaukee a better place to live and visit.
