East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Although on-site crews may occasionally communicate specific impacts to your property, a general outline of what to expect in the coming weeks is listed below:
Week of July 19:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
- Install Vapor Barrier at Station 1
- Backfill at Station 1
- Install Vault at Station 7
- Regrade at Station 7
- Survey Platform at Station 7
- Redo Boring at Station 7
- Install sewer and adjust water at Station 8
Week of July 26:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
- Install Conduit at Stations 7, 8
- Install Survey Platform at Station 8
Week of August 2:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
