East-West Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is Milwaukee County’s planned 9-mile regional, modern transit service connecting downtown Milwaukee, Milwaukee’s Near West Side, Marquette University, Wauwatosa and the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center.
Although on-site crews may occasionally communicate specific impacts to your property, a general outline of what to expect in the coming weeks is listed below.
Week of Oct. 25:
- Install permanent traffic control at Stations 1, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20
- Install daily traffic control at Station 10
- Install additional trench drain at Station 4
- Median pavement concrete work and install City of Wauwatosa conduit at Station 6
- Open roadway at Stations 9, 10
- Install sidewalk at Stations 10, 11, 12
- Form and pour curb and gutter at Stations 11, 12
- Install driveways, ramp and steps, and 12” pavement at Station 12
- Survey platform and install conduit at Stations 14, 15
- Regrade Station 14
- Form platform at Stations 14, 17, 19
- Install snowmelt, pull boxes and grounding ring at Stations 14, 17, 19
- Install base course at Station 15
- Snowmelt inspection at Stations 17, 19
- Street light termination at Stations 18, 20
- Survey Stations 18, 20
